Nutcracker #1

This is the ORIGINAL acrylic and ink artwork on watercolor paper. There is only one in existence. Once it is purchased, it is gone forever.

This is one of two nutcrackers commissioned by Swoon Cookie Crafters. They licensed the image from me to be printed on icing sheets and applied to cookies which were then sold to the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts for the Kansas City Ballet’s performance series of The Nutcracker Ballet.

The cookies were a big hit!

I had so much fun creating these two nutcrackers, that I plan to paint a few more characters from the ballet this holiday season! Collect them all!
